Ex-Football Chief Koumas Denies 25 Charges and Fights Asset Freeze
The former president of the Cyprus Football Association, Giorgos Koumas, pleaded not guilty to all 25 charges on Wednesday before the Nicosia District Court. He faces 23 counts of conflict of interest and two counts of money laundering in connection with 6.5 million euros. Additionally, he is legally contesting the seizure of assets worth 3.4 million euros. The hearing began more than ninety minutes late.
