Expanded social benefits for people with disabilities
The Cypriot government is implementing a new reform for people with disabilities that provides increased benefits, retroactive payments, and an expansion of beneficiaries. An important component is the gradual decoupling of disability allowances from income criteria. Implementation of the measures began in July and will continue gradually.
