Explosion in Plaka (Athens): One Dead, Five Missing
Following a strong explosion on Friday morning, September 25, 2026, on Lysicrates Street in Athens' Plaka district, a building collapsed. A woman was recovered dead from the first floor. She lived there with three other people. They are two American couples, of which five people are still missing.
