Explosions and Gunfire Near Mali's Main Military Base Kati
Two loud explosions and sustained gunfire were reported Saturday morning near Mali's main military base Kati outside the capital Bamako. Soldiers closed off access roads. The cause of the explosions was initially unclear and no militia claimed responsibility.
