Exports from Ercan Airport Come to Virtual Standstill
Exports from the Turkish-controlled side via Ercan Airport (Tymbou) have reportedly come to a near halt because no specially designated control area for cargo exports has been established. According to news portal Haber Kibris, currently only blood and human remains can be safely exported via the airport, revealing the economic difficulties facing the region.
