Extreme Heat and Work Stoppage During Heat Wave
Cyprus is experiencing extreme heat with temperatures reaching up to 44 degrees Celsius. An orange weather alert is in effect between 12 noon and 5 p.m., with temperatures around 33 degrees expected in the mountains. All outdoor work of heavy and medium intensity as well as delivery services using bicycles and e-scooters are prohibited between 12 noon and 4 p.m.
