Extreme heat: mandatory midday work break ordered for outdoor workers
Due to extreme temperatures and an orange weather warning, the labor inspection authority has ordered a mandatory work interruption for all heavy and medium-intensity outdoor work as well as for transport and delivery activities using motorcycles and electric mobility devices. The measure is intended to protect workers from heat stress.
