Extreme Saharan Dust Warning for Cyprus on Friday
The Cypriot meteorological office is warning of a severe Saharan dust event that will affect Cyprus beginning in the early Friday morning hours. Dust concentrations in the atmosphere will rise to very high levels at times. The warning takes effect at 3:00 a.m. and remains valid for 24 hours.
