F-16 Fighter Jet Crashes in Michigan – Pilot Escapes
An F-16 fighter jet from the Texas National Guard crashed in a residential area in Grant Traverse County, Michigan. The pilot managed to eject to safety in time using the ejection seat. The crash triggered a major operation; the aircraft belonged to the 149th Fighter Wing of the Texas Air National Guard.
