Families pay for treatment abroad, then struggle against the state
An opinion article addresses the difficult situation of families whose relatives require medical treatment unavailable in Cyprus and therefore travel abroad. After expensive treatment, families must additionally struggle with the Cypriot state to obtain reimbursements. The article describes this as a second burden for already struggling families.
