Farmer Blockade at Rizoelia Roundabout Dissolved
Farmers blocked the strategically important Rizoelia intersection overnight into Friday for several hours before voluntarily withdrawing shortly after midnight. Police restored traffic at around 6 a.m. The protest violated decrees aimed at controlling foot-and-mouth disease and followed a failed four-hour negotiation.
