Farmer protests at Rizoelia - demands rejected, blockade continues
Livestock breeders blocking the Rizoelia intersection announced they would continue their protest action after their representatives reported from negotiations in Nicosia that their demands to Agriculture Minister Maria Panayiotou were not accepted. The demands are instead to be addressed again on Monday. The farmers continue to threaten blockades of ports and Larnaca airport.
