Farmers' Union Criticizes Veterinary Authorities Over FMD Compensation
The Cypriot farmers' union sharply criticized veterinary authorities for handling compensation payments to farmers whose animals were culled during the 2026 foot-and-mouth disease outbreak. Union chairman Neophytos Neophytou reported that seven farms had not yet received their due compensation.
