Festively Decorated Epitaphios Processions in Cyprus
In the solemn atmosphere of Good Friday, impressively arranged Epitaphios processions were conducted in various regions of Cyprus. Believers participated en masse in the ceremony, which represents the climax of the Holy Drama. From Larnaca to Nicosia to Paphos, volunteers and community members decorated churches with flowers and lights.
