FIFA has initiated disciplinary proceedings against the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) following islamophobic and xenophobic chants by Spanish fans during a friendly match against Egypt on March 31 at the Estadio RCDE Stadium near Barcelona. The supporters had chanted racist slogans.
