Finance Minister Calls for More Flexible EU Budget Rules for Energy Crisis
Finance Minister Makis Keravnos called on Friday for greater flexibility in EU fiscal rules to give member states more room for higher spending and support for households and businesses in the inflation and energy crisis. Ahead of the Ecofin meeting in Luxembourg, Keravnos expressed confidence that the European Commission would respond to corresponding demands from member states.
