Fire at Astromeritis checkpoint extinguished
A fire that broke out Wednesday afternoon in dry grass and wild vegetation near the Astromeritis checkpoint was brought under control. Firefighters from Nicosia stations and volunteer helper groups successfully fought the blaze.
