Fire at Pakistani hospital claims 14 lives
At least 14 newborns died in a fire at the state hospital Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad. Local media attribute the tragedy to a defect in the air conditioning system that sparked the fire at approximately 7 a.m. The Prime Minister confirmed the high number of deaths in this disaster.
