Fire Department Opens New Operations Center
The Cypriot Fire Department inaugurated a new 24-hour coordination center for operations management on Tuesday, which was built with a budget of 6.5 million euros. President Nikos Christodoulides emphasized at the opening the growing challenges posed by the climate crisis, extreme weather, and technological risks. The center is intended to enable more efficient response to multi-level challenges.
