Fire department rescues dozens from stuck elevators
The Cypriot fire department rescued dozens of people who were stuck in elevators during nationwide power outages that affected the entire country. Emergency calls came from all districts, with the most reports from Limassol and Nicosia. The power outages began in the early morning hours. The fire department performed exemplary work in the rescue operations.
