Fire safety inspections after building permit approval have no legal validity
The chairman of the House Interior Committee, Aristos Damianou, has expressed concerns for the second time in a few weeks about fire safety inspections of buildings with high user numbers. A fire department representative told parliament that inspections conducted after final approval is issued have no legal validity. This indicates a gap in the fire safety procedure.
