Firefighter Killed During Rescue Operation on Rhodes
A firefighter was fatally injured while providing assistance during a rescue operation in a difficult-to-access area of the Sideritissa gorge on Rhodes. The Greek Environment Ministry ordered an investigation. The operation became necessary after tourists in the area called for help.
