Firefighters Promoted: Two Deputy Chief Officer Positions Created
Two new positions of Deputy Chief Officer are being created for the Cypriot Fire Department, which will alternate in representing the Chief Officer and can participate in various committees without police involvement. A legislative decree prepared by the Justice Ministry in collaboration with the Fire Department replaces previous senior civil service positions with these two new roles.
