First foot-and-mouth disease case on Cyprus pig farm
Cyprus's veterinary services have confirmed the first case of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) on a pig farm in Paliometochos in the Nicosia district. The disease was identified through sampling after the animal showed typical symptoms. With this case, the total number of affected livestock holdings has risen to 84.
