Five Britons arrested at Larnaca Airport with 75kg of illegal tobacco
Five British citizens were arrested on August 8 at Larnaca Airport after customs officers discovered a total of 74.75kg of rolling tobacco in their luggage. They were attempting to fly to Manchester with the tobacco. The tobacco was packaged without the required warning labels and partially originated from Northern Cyprus. The suspects appeared in court and are being charged with attempting to illegally export the product.
