Food Connect App Launched to Combat Food Waste
The new digital platform Food Connect was introduced in Cyprus to reduce food waste by connecting businesses with surplus food to charities and the public. The free platform was developed as part of a European Life project by Friends of the Earth Cyprus and enables businesses to donate still-edible surplus goods instead of disposing of them.
