Foot-and-mouth disease affects over 121 livestock farms
The number of livestock farms affected by foot-and-mouth disease has grown to over 121 units. This is notable given that 84 percent of cattle, 78 percent of sheep, and 41 percent of pigs have already received the second vaccination dose against FMD. The latest case continues to demonstrate challenges in containing the animal disease.
