Foot-and-mouth disease: Cyprus intensifies diagnostic efforts in critical phase
The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics is assisting at the request of the Ministry of Agriculture in combating foot-and-mouth disease, which is severely affecting the livestock sector. Veterinary associations and livestock breeding organizations warn that Southern Cyprus is in a critical phase in dealing with the disease.
