Foot-and-Mouth Disease in Cyprus Under Control
The foot-and-mouth disease situation in Cyprus is under control and the epidemic shows declining trends, according to Dimitris Epaminondas, member of the epidemiological team and president of the Pancypriot Veterinary Association. Apart from two farms still under investigation, all other units have shown negative test results. Double vaccination has been completed in approximately 90 percent of affected farms.
