Foot-and-mouth disease in Livadia: Over 30,000 animals killed
The Ministry of Agriculture confirmed the complete culling of all positively tested animals on a farm in Livadia due to foot-and-mouth disease. The vaccination campaign shows progress with 98 percent of the cattle population and 76 percent of sheep and goats having already received a first vaccination dose. The total number of killed animals now exceeds 30,000.
