Foot-and-Mouth Disease: New Case in Drommolaxia, 85 Additional Animals Culled
A new case of foot-and-mouth disease was registered in Cyprus at a livestock facility in Drommolaxia, following which 85 sheep and goats were culled. Epidemiological investigations and sampling in the Paphos region have been completed and show negative laboratory results. Authorities continue to conduct tracing and sampling in the affected areas, while random sampling tests in the remaining regions of the country continue until next week.
