Foot-and-mouth disease on 101 farms in Cyprus
The number of farms affected by foot-and-mouth disease in Cyprus has risen to 101, as announced by the Veterinary Department on Saturday. Following the latest tests, an additional infection was detected on a sheep and goat farm in the municipalities of Dromolaxia and Meneou. The animal disease poses a significant threat to Cyprus's livestock industry.
