Foot-and-mouth disease spreading - 75 livestock herds infected
The number of livestock herds affected by foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) in the cultivation areas of Nicosia and Larnaca has risen to 75, as announced by the Veterinary Service on Tuesday. The situation is complicated by a parallel dispute over access to facilities in the Pergamos/Pyla zone in the buffer zone.
