Foot-and-mouth disease spreads: Third case in West Nicosia
Foot-and-mouth disease has reached a third pig farm in Palaiometochó, prompting authorities to fear possible spread to goat and sheep farming facilities in the region. Over 62,000 animals are to be culled, while 102 farms have already been affected. The virus spread poses a significant threat to local livestock farming.
