Foot-and-mouth disease spreads to additional farms
Foot-and-mouth disease is affecting an increasing number of livestock herds in Cyprus. The laboratory of the veterinary authorities has confirmed four additional infected goat and sheep herds as well as one affected cattle herd, bringing the total number of affected units to 75. Laboratory tests and contact tracing continue while vaccination campaigns proceed.
