Foot-and-mouth disease threatens halloumi exports
Farmers were warned that insufficient implementation of EU regulations on culling animals with foot-and-mouth disease could endanger Cyprus's halloumi exports to the EU. Demetris Epaminondas, chairman of the veterinary association, warned of these consequences.
