Foreign companies create every tenth job in Cyprus
According to Eurostat, foreign-controlled enterprises employed a total of 40,187 people in Cyprus in 2024 – approximately ten percent of all jobs. The 681 foreign-controlled enterprises in the sectors of industry, construction and services generated added value of 4.76 billion euros, demonstrating remarkable economic significance despite their comparatively small number.
