Formula 1 driver and Paralympics champion Zanardi deceased
Former Formula 1 pilot Alex Zanardi has passed away at the age of 59. The Italian lost both legs in a racing accident but subsequently achieved gold medals as a Paralympian. Zanardi made his Formula 1 debut in 1991 and later achieved success in the American CART series.
