Formula 1 increases combustion engine power in 2027 at the expense of electric power
Starting in 2027, Formula 1 will adjust the ratio between combustion power and electric performance in favor of gasoline engines. This decision is based on successful regulation changes that were tested at the Miami Grand Prix. Team principals, engine manufacturers, and the FIA met virtually to approve the new engine regulations in principle.
