Four persons arrested for smuggling ring and forged entry documents
Cypriot police arrested four persons suspected of being involved in a human smuggling ring. The suspects allegedly sold forged entry permits for €6,000 per person to enable citizens from third countries to enter Cyprus illegally. The investigation began on April 24, 2026 and includes charges of conspiracy, document forgery, identity theft, and aiding illegal immigration.
