Fraud Scandal Uncovered in Healthcare System
The Cypriot health insurance authority (GESY) is investigating dozens of consumable materials provided by a supplier due to suspected fraud. The supplier had attempted to deceive the system by delivering different items than those registered to hospitals. Several products were subsequently removed from the system lists.
