Fraud Wave on Booking Platforms: 15 Cases in Three Days
The Cypriot consumer association reports a rise in online fraud linked to a popular accommodation booking platform. Approximately 15 fraud cases were reported within three to four days. The fraudsters are sending fake messages that appear to come from the platform in order to deceive users.
