Fraudsters Pose as Police and Demand Bank Details
Cypriot police warn the public of a wave of fraud in which criminals impersonate police officers and attempt to steal personal and banking information. The fraudsters call citizens from Cyprus-looking numbers, speak Greek, and pose as officials to obtain money and sensitive information.
