Fraudsters Send Fake Traffic Fine SMS to Cypriots
Criminals are sending fraudulent SMS messages falsely purporting to be from Cypriot police documenting alleged traffic violations or administrative fines. The messages contain links directing recipients to fake electronic payments. Police warn that they do not send such SMS messages and advise citizens to be cautious.
