Fraudsters steal nearly 2,000 euros through fake traffic fines
Cyprus police in Paphos is investigating two new cases of internet fraud in which scammers impersonated traffic authorities. Two citizens lost a total of almost 2,000 euros from their bank accounts after receiving SMS messages with alleged traffic fines and being tricked into paying.
