Fraudsters use fake Gesy SMS for phishing attacks
Police are investigating a new fraud case in which criminals sent SMS messages appearing to come from the national health system Gesy. A 60-year-old man from Paphos received such a fake message on April 28 and lost a substantial sum of money. This method demonstrates the growing danger of fraud through counterfeit official communications.
