French Military Transport Aircraft Used in Fire-Fighting for First Time
The French military A400M transport aircraft of the air force was deployed for the first time in actual firefighting operations. The Airbus aircraft operationally dropped fire retardant for the first time over the Lacanu forest area in the Gironde near Bordeaux, proving itself for the first time in an aerial wildfire suppression mission.
