Gaza Students Return to In-Person Classes After Three Years
Hundreds of thousands of children in the Gaza Strip attended in-person classes on Saturday for the first time in nearly three years, though in damaged or makeshift school buildings and tents. According to the UN Children's Fund, 98 percent of schools in the Gaza Strip have been destroyed, and many families cannot afford school uniforms, notebooks, and pens.
