Gender Distribution in Household Work: Women Bear Main Burden
A study by the Mediterranean Institute for Gender Studies as part of the European CAREdiZO project shows that women in Cyprus bear a disproportionately large share of household work and unpaid care tasks, despite the society being considered progressive. The research highlights persistent inequality in the distribution of domestic responsibilities.
