Genetic study clarifies origins of Albanians
A new DNA study, published in Nature Human Behaviour, has traced the genetic origins of present-day Albanians and shows that they descend from a small population group that lived in the territory of present-day Albania since around 800 AD. The research thus resolves one of Europe's most debated historical questions.
